(Radio Campaign)

Thayer Sarrano - Radio K

September 02, 2015 (Wednesday) - "Track of the Day." The good people of Radio K out of Minneapolis were generous enough to feature as their "Track of the Day" the song "Shaky" by Thayer Sarrano -- the title cut from her new album, piping hot. Radio K serves the University of Minnesota, and more broadly the outlying state. Quotation: "Automatic. Awesome. iTunes Accessible. Every day Radio K offers up a fresh new track for you to download. It's just one more way that Real College Radio makes Real Life (a little more) Rockin'." The Guildwater Group would like to thank Bel Forester, Ross Koeberl, Sarah Lemanczyk, Sara Miller, Josh Servais, and any all others at Radio K, who helped make this adventure possible. More local to ourselves, we sincerely thank Shil, Bri, and JJ of Team Clermont for this result of their efforts and expertise.

What a welcomed review! Quotation: "Five Fingertips is easily one of the best new artists we have heard in 2015. Cool, gripping, creative cuts...." You can find a direct link to the review right here. We were so delighted by the news, we ordered babysue t-shirts (see above) for our office staff! Take the time to loiter around their various websites. Nuggets (music, art, prose, comics, reviews, jokes) to be found in every corner. Thank you, babysue!

"Crease"

August 31, 2015 (Monday) - Give a look and listen to the official video for "Crease," a song from the new album -- Shaky -- by Thayer Sarrano. Sounds are nice. Images are nice. Sounds and images compounded together are twice as nice. Thayer crafted the video along with Abel Klainbaum in Athens, GA.

Thayer Sarrano - Immersive Atlanta

August 28, 2015 (Friday) - Russell Rockwell of Immersive Atlanta recently offered an ample and insightful review of the new record -- Shaky -- by Thayer Sarrano, which was officially released today, August 28th. We of the Guildwater Group agree wholeheartedly, that the song "A Quiet State Panic" represents "the pinnacle" of an album strewn with gems. That particular track has been our favorite for a few months running. There are many fine passages that we could share from this thoughtful write-up, as is our wont, but we will go with an excerpt of the one Immersive Atlanta themselves selected, for inclusion on their own Facebook Page. Quote: "This is Sarrano’s strongest album to date.... With uncanny confidence, she leads us through her wild landscape, punctuating each vista with her own personal truths, which stand out in sharp relief to a world filled with confusion." Thank you kindly, Immersive Atlanta, for the review, as well as the coverage given to the cut "Crease" back on August 4th.

Finally, to old and new friends of our Guildwater Group Facebook Page, please do not mistake this for the main stage. We are two-bit carnival barkers at a sideshow here. The main stage can be found in one of three places.

Thayer Sarrano - Shaky

August 28, 2015 (Friday) - Wild Patterns, run by Michael Tenzer, of the band Savage Sister, is a site and record label devoted to the genre of "shoe gaze" and "dream pop." As a result, the music of Thayer Sarrano fits in quite nicely. Back on July 22 of this year, Wild Patterns shared Thayer's "The Bend," her exercise in aural hypnosis, from her 2012 album -- Lift Your Eyes to the Hills. Now, on the day of the release of her latest LP effort -- Shaky -- Wild Patterns shares the track "How Can I Wait." On both counts, the Guildwater Group thanks you. Visit the Wild Patterns Tumblr.

WZBC (Boston College)

August 28, 2015 (Friday) - We are very happy to add WZBC of Boston College to our list of radio stations spinning the new record -- Shaky -- from Thayer Sarrano. According to their Twitter Playlist, students up in Chestnut Hill took their morning coffee today with fuzz, instead of cream and sugar. WZBC played "Touch My Face" at 7:56 AM. Thanks to the brazen DJ responsible for this morning jolt. The new album is out today -- Friday, August 28, 2015.

Thayer Sarrano - Pittsburgh in Tune

August 28, 2015 (Friday) - Jeffrey Sisk of Pittsburgh in Tune reviews the new LP -- Shaky -- from Thayer Sarrano. Sisk writes: "...Sarrano blended deeply personal experiences with the mystical.... There’s a haunting beauty in Sarrano’s songs." We appreciate this positive review of the new album, on this the very day of its official release -- August 28, 2015. Now that's good timing!
