—  Wings Alleluia Tour (2019)  —

April 5, 2019 (Friday) - The Wings Alleluia Album Release Tour of rolls on to the crisp, clean-air of North Carolina. This is only fitting, because nearby is the very place where Thayer Sarrano launched the recording of her album, back in May 2017, at Mitch Easter's Fidelitorium Recordings, outside Winston-Salem. If you don't know of Easter's work with Let's Active, well, triple shame upon you. You need to expand your musical horizons. Here we throw a video link to "Waters Part" -- FYI. You can stand in awe of Mitch's impressively wide-arrayed guitar collection, all in the space of the breath of a zinger of a Rickenbacker Pop Song 84. (All allusions fully-intended.)

After a nice show yesterday at Petra's Piano Bar in Charlotte, Thayer Sarrano moves on over tonight to the Duke Coffeehouse, in Durham, a city which is one of the three base coordinates of the Research Triangle. In addition to Sarrano, the show at Petra's featured performances by NC-locals -- Austin Basinger and Mint Hill. Tonight, in Durham, also performing will be William Csorba of Houston, Texas, Ross Hammond of Sacramento, California, and Fond d'Culottes of NC. Our deep-river-running Archives reveal that Thayer Sarrano last played Petra's in February 2016, which was a fine year.
