This particular showcase -- Athens in Austin -- boasts a bevy of sponsors, but the prime mover here would be the grandeur that is the Georgia Theatre. This show gets live. It gets rowdy, by way of The SideBar, where, also playing, will be: Bambara, Glove, Five Eight, The Medium, Saint Pé, Los Coast, Surfbort, Caulfield, Faux Ferocious, Katie Schecter, Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires, The Artisanals, and Wieuca. Thayer Sarrano last made this southwesterly trek to Austin in 2017.
